A Paint horse in the United States has been confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records as having the longest horse's tail, at 12.5 feet (that is 381 cm). The official length of JJS Summer Breeze's tail was noted in January by Guinness.

Owner Crystal Socha combs out and shampoos Summer's tail once every two months, and the operation takes three hours. Each hair strand has the consistency of fishing line.

"I don't think I've ever gotten every knot out of that tail. It takes a lot longer in the summer when she's flicking at flies. When it's out and it's flowing, then I know why it's worth it," said Crystal.

The longest goldfish in the world (Carassius auratus) is owned by Joris Gijsbers and measured 47.4 cm (18.7 inch) from snout to tail.

This is Svetlana Pankratova, the woman with the world’s longest legs according to the Guinness Book of World’s Records. Svetlana Pankratova (born August 29, 1971^, has the longest legs of any woman in the world. While she is not the world's tallest woman, her legs are 132 centimetres (4 ft 4 in) long. Because her upper body is of much more typical dimensions, she is 196 centimetres (6 ft 5 in) tall. She has also very large feet, which gives her lots of problems when shopping for shoes big enough for her size 13 (US) / 46 (EU) feet.

The dog-called Mr. Jeffries, had ears measured at 29.2cm in November 2002.

His grandad used to hold the record, but when he died Mr Jeffries took over.

His ears are so valuable that his owner has insured them against damage for £30,000.

Owner Phil Jeffries says the ears are so long that he often stands on them, trips over them or drags them in his food by accident.
